Players loudly complain every time a skill is made simpler because RuneScape gold it"cheapens" the game. Zezima quit because things were too easy for newer gamers, and he was not alone. I would love to see a debate on how this might be fixed without wrecking the match. Can it be an impossible solution? Here are my thoughts: Add worthwhile content in the ground up. Skills should take more time to level, but not 10 times as much. That never utilized to be a problem until it became crucial to level that high. . .now it's for many people since there's actually content up there.
A likely modest section of the neighborhood does really play for the grind and sense of achievement. Mainly the people aiming for 200m skills, they gain nothing in the process in general by way of content and enjoy playing. You can go kill bandos for 200 kills/trip? Why? The only end game I consider runescape having is participant killing, which is not so alluring to many.
I just don't see why folks put content-related objectives, this game has such inferior content in reality. Unless, of course, you like questing, but by 70+ skills you can basically have quest cape and that takes very few hours comparatively speaking. Making the game easier would ruin the game for me, personally, as most updates do. It is simple enough already tbh, all you will need is time. Dungeoneering isn't even much of a"ability" skill, since you're reliant on 4 other individuals skills as well. In case Jagex made solo dungeoneering around 350k exp/hr, then I think it becomes more of a skill-skill. Post may have been a mess of unorganized ideas by my primary point is this: I believe that in the event you remove the grind you remove a lot of the match.
Also to create more apparent again, I am saying that runescape doesn't have really good endgame apart from personal achievement, when you take the achievement you take out the match tbh. Some fair points made here, especially about removing huge chunks of the sport and the needlessness of large content objectives. However, I would disagree with your pursuit point: it might have been the case once, but it is not any more that a participant at 70+ may perform all of the quests. Since quests are my motivation to raise skills, this can be important, as I've seen a major increase in the amount of skills I want to raise and the height they need to reach: a quest cape will need: 76 defence, constitution, mining, woodcutting, and crafting; 77 Ability; 78 attack and strength; 80 magical; 74 smithing, thieving, and firemaking.
None of them are boostable, and in the top end, they abruptly take perhaps twice as many hours because the requirements which are 70 or below. Equally, all of these are sequels to quests I've managed to reach with relative ease at mainly 70ish stats. That is why I believe runescape is pushing players to more of buy OSRS gold a grind in some regions and it doesn't seem reasonable.
