Special Sawan This Year: Shani ki Sade Sati Hogi Dur

The holy month of Sawan is going to begin on July 28. There is a special significance in the Hindu religion of the month of Sawan.

According to Shiva Purana, Lord Shiva was happy with the penance of Mother Parvati in the month of Sawan and accepted her as a wife. It is said that in this month, Lord Shiva fulfills all the wishes of his devotees.

According to beliefs, girls who keep fasting in the month of Sawan receive a desired life partner from the blessings of Lord Shiva. In this month those who do Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva receives the position, prestige and luxury in life.

Why is the month of Sawan this time special?

Co-incidently, the first day of sawan is falling on Saturday, which is considered to be very special. This rare coincidence is being seen after many years.

Another co-incidence is that this year the month of Sawan has 5 Mondays (paanch somvar) which according to Hindu mythology is called as ‘Rotak Vrat’. According to the belief, Lord Shiva and mother Parvati fulfill all the wishes of those who keep fasting on all 5 Mondays.

Saturn is the god of justice from astrological point of view and heals the sins of many births. He gives rest after devotion and gives the fruits of karma in the form of pleasure and punishment.

At the same time, Lord Shiva is considered as a god of welfare and, is also called God of Saturn. If you are suffering from the wrath of Saturn, then say your pain to Shiva with the true mind and heart on the first day of Sawan it is believed that he will surely hear your pain and remove it.

How to be relieved from Shani Sade Sati?
Those people who are suffering from Shani Sade sati or, if the Sagittarius, Scorpio and Capricorn are troubled by the Saturn, then such people should do the Rudrabhishek on first day of Sawan and chant the Shani Beej mantra by sitting in front of Shiva. Apart from this, they should also read Sunderkand and will be relieved from adverse effects of Sade Sati.

If you cannot fast on auspicious dates and on Mondays, you can worship "Bhole" by offering water on Shivling in any Shiva temple. The lord is so generous on his devotees that he gets pleased with their true bhakti and reverence.
